What Your Favourite Christopher Nolan Film Says About You

If you haven’t ever seen a Christopher Nolan film, what’ve you been doing? You’re missing out on so much! If you have though, then knowing what your favourite Nolan film is suggests a lot about your character.

So if the following list (Batman) Begins to re-awaken your senses for all things Christopher Nolan, then maybe you’ll want a memento to remember them by? Or if you’re suffering from Insomnia, then what can beat The Prestige of watching a Nolan film on Blu-Ray late into the Dark (K)night? Well, through voucher codes on sites like Discount Promo Codes, you can save on things like DVDs and Blu-Rays through retailers like Zavvi and Argos.

Ultimate hipster alert. You’ve probably seen all of Nolan’s back catalogue at least a dozen times, and you sought this one out. You’re dedicated, you’re committed, and most importantly, you enjoy seeing the journey of a filmmaker improve his craft. An all-round nice, supportive person. If you enjoyed that, you would probably appreciate his first ever short, Doodlebug.

'Memento'

You like doing everything out of order, like drinking a glass of orange juice right after cleaning your teeth. You’re a maverick, and you have absolutely no shame in doing things differently. You probably like to write things on your hand too, just so you don’t forget anything.

'Insomnia'

So you probably like cop dramas and detective films. You wanted to be a police officer when you were younger, and this probably is still the case. But now you’re there for the mystery, intrigue, and cold-blooded murder stories, instead of just wanting to play cops and robbers.

'Batman Begins'

You love an origin story, and thus in real life you relish meeting new people and forming new relationships. However, sometimes you struggle to tell your friends from your enemies, which then sometimes leads to your mansion burning down. Whoops.

Look at you, Paul Daniels. You like things to be complex, and to not always appear as they seem. The illusions in this film suit your somewhat mysterious personality. Also, it’s got Hugh Jackman and David Bowie in it. Dreamy gushing all round.

'The Dark Knight'

What a sheep. Yes, it’s a good film, but that’s what everyone says. You’re a stickler for following the rules and following the crowd, and you don’t like sticking out with any cutting opinions. Ultimately though, you’re a people pleaser, and do what you can to keep people happy.

'Inception'

Who hasn’t had a weird dream before. If you’re the sort of person that believes a dream in which your teeth are falling out means anything, then you’ll get something out of this. Also, if you’re a fan of high-concept heists or that bloke off of Titanic, then this is probably your pick.

'The Dark Knight Rises'

Your probably enjoy an after party more than the actual party. You prefer an after-dinner mint to the actual dinner. Whilst there’s nothing wrong with that, it feels like you’re enjoying things right at the wrong time. Just go and say you prefer the Dark Knight and be done with it, instead of pretending you have a personality and opinions of your own.

'Interstellar'

You probably own a telescope, or have the boxset of every Star Trek series, yes, even Enterprise. We get it, you like space. Also, you like complaining about things set in space, like Enterprise. You probably also have a lot of patience, as you’ll be waiting for the dialogue to end and the big set-piece action to begin.

Don’t tell me you don’t spend almost all your Sunday afternoons watching the History channel. The unusual way in which each storyline plays out in real time means you’re someone who probably just sees time as a concept, which means you’re always turning up late to everything.

'Tenet'

You’re insane. How can this be your favourite when it’s not even out yet? Or maybe you just get really excited for things before they come out, and wear yourself out with hype? However, with John David Washington and Robert Pattinson cast, there’s every reason to feel intrigued about this upcoming flick.
