Why Not Do These 2?

Welcome back to the next instalment of my series. Previously I had done video games (of which I shall go back to eventually) and I am now taking my focus towards the movie industry. Read and enjoy what ideas I may present unto you.

'I, Frankenstein'

Source

Aaron Eckhart plays the most famous creature in horror movie history only instead of just expressing rage towards humanity, he also fights for it alongside gargoyles against demons from hell who want to rule the world.

This underrated film deserves more attention than it got and I am kicking myself for not seeing it theaters. Due to the low ratings this movie got, the possibility of a sequel and crossover with the Underworld series, was delayed.

Still, a sequel and crossover with the Underworld series should still happen.

'Van Helsing'

With Hugh Jackman finishing his last role as Wolverine in the 2017 film Logan, why not go back to being the most famous monster hunter in all fiction?

'The Three Musketeers'

Source

The 2011 film may have been average at the box office, but with the way the movie ended, I think a sequel should be in store. The question remains though as to whether the same actors from the first one will want to reprise their roles.

'Aztek'

The lesser-known super-hero of the DC universe deserves more attention in my opinion. Raised by the secret group known as the Q Society to be a champion for Quetzalcoatl to prepare for the second coming of the dark god Tezcatlipoca (not to be confused from the one from mythology).

It also would be nice to have a Hispanic addition to the DC universe. But one question remains: would they end the movie with Uno being killed and having Nayeli Constant be the replacement in the post-credits scenes? Or would they start off with Nayeli right from the get-go?

'Namor'

With the constant success of Marvel movies having the Sub-Mariner would not be such a bad idea. Considering the fact that Aquaman is coming out late this year, having another Atlantean make it to the big screen would be nice. The question remains though: would he be a villain fighting against the Fantastic Four? Or would the plot involve him fighting pirates and some other Marvel comics villain? One thing I would like to see is the character being played by an Asian actor.

'The Gunsmith'

The famous western novel series by J.R. Roberts has never been made into a movie, let alone a TV series. Plus, there should be more western movies out there. The plot could be about a friend of Clint Adams is in trouble, corrupt officials trying to throw people of their land, Native Americans being framed for something. There are a lot of books in the series and plenty of ideas. But one thing that they cannot leave out of the movie is Clint Adams having sex with a woman, which happens in almost every novel. So not a movie for kids.

'The Creeper'

Source

I am not referring to the Creeper from the movie Jeepers Creepers, I am referring to the Creeper who was played by Rondo Hatton, a serial killer who used brute strength to kill his prey. He was considered to be the “ugliest man in movies” and the “monster who needs no makeup” due in fact that he had a condition called acromegaly.

That being said, his features made him ideal for the role for the Hoxton Creeper in the Sherlock Holmes movie The Pearl of Death and in two of his last films The House of Horrors and The Brute Man.

Granted there is no-one in the entertainment industry that looks like Rondo Hatton, but with today’s make-up and special effects, bringing back the Creeper should not be that difficult.

FYI: I do not judge people by their appearances. I think that he was a talented actor and that he died before he could reach his true potential.
