With cold winter hands I knew I was alone. I always had been, and it sucked. For I got more cold and cold, but I still moved forward. I couldn't see what was directly in front of me.

I wasn't blind, I wasn't cruel to life itself. Only to the barring pain that ached on my back. It wasn't for the reason I hoped for. It made sense for me to just move forward, and break my ever lasting body till it bled. Of course I was to much of a coward to do so but I still wanted to.

I couldn't see what was in front of me, or not enough to be considered safe. All I could see was white, with more white flakes. No it wasn't right to blame my old friends for putting me to this path but I could say my orange parka was going to freeze me like this. My body isn't young and as fresh as I once was, although, I'm a teenager so I should be practically okay I'm still young. Except they say that but tired teens out and slap heavy weights on their back till they look and feel old.

So I don't consider us young, I say forcefully old. And the snow reminded me of what was to come. My blond hair would one day slowly look like the scenery around me. My skin would break down, my body would give up. But isn't it already?

I turned around to see what I've been seeing for hours, I sighed making a small heated mist. Falling back, feeling the cold hug me, I remember what my friends could of once said. What they would laugh at me for. Of course I'm outside, laying in the snow. I'm just a poor kid.

Until, I didn't feel poor.

"Hey Kenny!" a boy with red hair and a green hat spoke nicely. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up swiftly and started walking. I was sure I was out of it with probably frost bite, which would make since on why I couldn't feel his hand.

"What's going on, Kyle?" I said with a broken and cold voice. This boy was one of my friends. One of the most sane of the group but also had some temper issues.

"Oh nothing, I'm just helping you inside the apartment I bought, I'll let you live with me Ken!" he exclaimed, before I could say anything back he had brought me inside and pushed me onto a couch, then left to fetch something. A few minutes past, as I had watched the clock in front of me which had a design of a dreidel, probably was a piece of merchandise of his favorite band, McDreidel.

I snapped out of my daydream of his house and into the world of care. For he was starting to rant about how cold my hands were and were wrapping them up in gauze, then wrapped a blanket around me and gave me the cheesiest smile.

Maybe I won't be so alone maybe I'll be happy again. With Kyle.
