With the premiere of Logan on the horizon, it would seem like Fox would hold back on releasing any more footage, but that doesn't appear to be the case. A new video has emerge, and while it isn't directly from Logan the creators of the video have partnered with #Fox. Created by the Youtube sensation Hydraulic Press Channel, the newest video is another in the channel's long series of videos where they crush various objects with a hydraulic press.

Hydraulic Press Tests the Durability of Adamantium, the Strongest Metal in the Marvel Universe

In their latest video, Hydraulic Press Channel has partnered with 20th Century Fox to show us how #Adamantium would function in our world. If you're unfamiliar with Adamantium, it's the metal most commonly associated with #Wolverine in the #Marvel universe. Adamantium is one of a few indestructible metals and Wolverine's entire bone structure is coated in it, including his claws.

Here's the video testing Wolverine's Adamantium claw against a hydraulic press.

Wolverine's claws have been known to cut through anything.

While the video pokes fun at Wolverine's claws, it presents us with a semi-realistic look at how an indestructible metal like Adamantium would function in our world. In the Marvel universe, Wolverine's claws can cut through practically anything — Wolverine has even been known to cut through metal and concrete.

Now, we get to see Wolverine test the durability of his claws against a hydraulic press. Apart from how believable the video made Wolverine's adamantium-laced claws appear when tested against a hydraulic press, it was also quite amusing to see his claw cut through a block of metal.

The consistency of the metal block is questionable but it was still entertaining to watch, especially seeing Wolverine's claw carve out four separate blocks after the hydraulic press forced his claw into the block.

Why didn't Jackman participate in the video?

No one can argue over how entertaining the video is but we can say it is missing one person: Hugh Jackman. Had the star of #Logan participated in the video, it probably would have attracted a lot more attention. Who knows — maybe Jackman will watch the video and contact Youtube's Hydraulic Press Channel for a follow-up?
