Chappelle has two comedy specials coming to #Netflix. That said, the notion of Dave Chappelle releasing two specials instead of one shouldn't be all that surprising considering how long Chappelle has been away from mainstream comedy. I think everyone will agree that two is always better than one (unless it's a heart attack).
Chappelle Has a Ton of Material to Air Two Stand-Up Specials at the Same Time
Regardless of what material Dave Chappelle decides to use, airing two stand-up specials at the same time all but says he has a lot of material he wants to release immediately, enough so that Chappelle's approach to comedy is to take the genre by storm. And the best way to do so is to air two comedy specials instead of just one. There's no precedent of this ever happening so he is essentially becoming a trend-setter for recording stand-up specials. More to the point, Dave Chappelle's next stand-up specials should be on everyone's to-watch list.
What Topics does Chappelle Cover in His Stand-Up Special?
As for which topics Chappelle might go over in his specials, one topic of discussion he probably won't shy away from will be the current American president, Donald Trump.
President Trump has been the topic of discussion among many comedians and Chappelle is one more comedian who will take advantage of the comedy gold he can carve out of Trump's buffoonery. Dave Chappelle also has a history of parodying the United States president in his comedy series, The Chappelle Show so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise to hear Chappelle poke fun at Donald Trump in his new stand-up special.
Netflix is currently streaming Dave Chappelle's new stand-up special as of March 21, 2017.
