ADHD
As I write this, I am currently waiting on a referral to see if I have ADHD, but all signs point to the disorder. At 36, this is the first time I have ever considered it as a possibility, despite always knowing that I am 'different'. My referral did not come from a doctor diagnosing me or noticing the symptom, it has never been even suggested in my whole life. No, I came to the conclusion on my own after viewing videos and posts online from friends telling me how the disorder affects them. Bit by bit, it started to make sense and I finally called the doctor about it. They felt there was sufficient evidence to send me to an expert.

The 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'
If you lived through the 90's, then you are probably familiar with the TV show Sabrina the Teenage Witch, starring Melissa Joan Hart. A magical comedy show for kids that ran for seven seasons. It was a far cry from the original comics, keeping only the name and some of the original characters.

The Cost of Being an Indie Author
Indie authors get a bad rep, with many viewing their books as less than worthy if they didn't manage to land themselves a deal with a top publisher. When a book is released, unless it is free or 99 cents, many people are unwilling to purchase it. Many are perhaps unwilling to part with their cash if a book isn't from a well known source, or receiving rave reviews. They are missing out.

Fibromyalgia and Me
Lady Gaga's recent documentary, Five Foot Two, which aired on Netflix, brought to light her daily battle with the condition Fibromyalgia. For those who don't know what the condition is, fibromyalgia is defined as a long-term pain condition which causes muscle pain, headaches, extreme fatigue, brain fog, and a whole host of other symptoms that severely impact the sufferer's life. At one point during the documentary, Lady Gaga wakes up with extreme pain down her right side and her staff immediately jumps in to help alleviate the pain with massages and various other therapies. Gaga comments that she has no idea what she would do without them or how she would cope. Welcome to the world of pretty much every other person suffering this condition on the planet, to the people who don't have the money or the help to ease their pain and get them through the day.
