10 Steps to Living the Rudd-Life

When life throws you a curve ball, I suggest trying to live the Rudd-Life.

Paul Rudd is one of those actors that just seems entirely too normal to be as big of an actor as he is. He seems completely down-to-earth and just an all around good guy. He's the type that you could grab a cup of coffee with on a random morning and nothing would seem out of place.

But, as we all know, life doesn't always afford us a normal day. So when life throws you a curve ball, I suggest trying to live the Rudd-Life.

Here are your 10 steps to living the Rudd-Life.

1. Acknowledge that today sucks.

Sometimes, no matter how much you plan or prepare, a day can take a turn for the worse in a matter of seconds. By acknowledging your current situation, it makes moving to step 2 much easier.

2. Call it as it is.

Once you acknowledge that today sucks, call it out. Be blunt, don't hold back and make your stance known so that you can face the day without regret.

3. Wait and hope to survive.

No matter how bad a situation is, it will all work out eventually. Close your eyes and then look forward to how you're going to continue.

4. Understand that it can't always be fixed right away.

You just have to be patient sometimes and just be content with life as it happens and be ready to handle it now or another time. Take your time and choose your battles.

5. Do what makes you happy.

As long as you stay happy, that's really what matters. No matter the situation, just do what makes you happy. When you're happy it's harder to be bogged down by whatever comes through your life that would normally ruin your entire day.

You're halfway there. Can you see now how the Rudd-Life can be highly beneficial?

6. Get lost in moment.

Take the chance to listen to music, play along if you will. Let yourself disconnect from the current situation and just be free in the moment.

7. Let your anger be known.

Now, living the Rudd-life doesn't mean that you're going to really go punch a child, but sometimes it needs to be said that you are angry about whatever has tried to ruin your day. Sometimes, you've just got to be blunt and acknowledge that you are angry.

8. Deal with it and move on.

Sometimes you've just got to walk away. Living the Rudd-Life affords you the luxury to just put your sunglasses on and walk away, not giving a f***.

9. Just go with the flow.

You've walked away, now it's time to let loose and remember that you're living the Paul Rudd Life. There's no room to mope or whine about whatever is happening in your life.

10a. Kiss the girl.

And it all comes down to this. You've now reached the moment of finding your true Rudd-Life and you can just go for it and kiss the girl.

10b. Grab life as it comes.

This is a freebie of the Rudd-Life, just let life happen and you never know what will happen.
