Honest review of the Netflix series

There are a lot of great shows that you can watch on Netflix, like The Office, Friends, or even Stranger Things. But, what happens when you finish all of the popular television shows or the ones that you are interested in? Do you just re-watch them? Do you start watching cooking shows? While some people do that. There are a lot of people that browse on Netflix to see what is interesting or not by the covers of the show. Well, one of the shows that I am going to talk about is Jane the Virgin. I am going to give an honest review of the show.

If I got to be honest, Jane the Virgin was not one of the shows that I was interested in. I was not interested in the cover, or the title because I thought that I already knew what was going to happen. This was my guess. I thought that it would start with someone not being able to have sex with anyone because they haven't met the "right guy." So, she starts dating these guys, goes on blind dates, so she can find her soul mate. She finally meets the right guy, gets married, and then loses her virginity. Boy! I was completely wrong.

The truth is that there is a lot of things happening throughout the series. This show can be classified as a romance show, thriller, or mystery. It has all of the categories that I am interested in. I think that this kind of show is something that you can't binge watch, since there are four seasons, has about 22 episodes in each season, and each episode is like 40 minutes long. I have noticed that I have been going back and forth through TV shows since I lose interested in 5 episodes and need a break.

At the same time, I am interested to see what happens. Since there is a lot going on. If you miss one detail, then you will probably be confused throughout the whole series. I had to go back to preview episodes since I got confused a lot to what was happening. Besides that, I love the suspense and not knowing what is gonna happen. Since there is a lot of back and forth through the TV show. Sometimes they show the love life of Jane, and then suddenly goes to "WHO KILLED THIS PERSON?" "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?"

If you want a little summary of Jane the Virgin, it goes like this. There is the main character, named Jane. She accidentally gets inseminated by a doctor—you will figure out who she is related to. This has changed her life upside down. She never had sex before, so she is a virgin girl that is pregnant with her first kid. At the same time, there are detectives trying to figure out killers that have happened at the hotel.

So, my main point is, this is a great TV show. If you don't know what to watch, then I recommend watching this show.
