There's more planned for Holland and his role as Peter Parker.

There's no secret around the internet that Spider-Man: Homecoming has earned quite a bit of attention ahead of its release. Actor Tom Holland happens to be the man of the hour at this moment and one that just happens to be one the world is chatting about. When it comes to where he'll be, what he's going to do, or what fun he'll have; there's no doubt that will be seeing quite a bit more about him.

Just to spice things up a bit more, we've also discovered due to an interview with Toronto Sunn, there's a bit more planned for Holland and his role as Peter Parker (or so we can assume). Just don't expect the webhead to show up in the upcoming Venom movie Sony Pictures is working on.

While we are eagerly awaiting for the R-rate spinoff that will feature Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight as Bane), we are already getting a bit more news about the webslingers future. According to Amy Pascal, however, we may get to see a crossover between both Spider-Man and Venom. However, in an interview with the same press, Tom Holland gave us a new response regarding this that you can check out below.

“No - They exist in a different world.”

While we had hoped to see this crossover, it doesn't seem that while we get to see that one happen, we may just get to see a bit more of the webslinger in action as Ruben Fleischer has taken on the job of kickstarting up Sony's own little Marvel universe with Silver Sable and Black Cat as they will be featuring their own movies.

Sadly, again, they won't be tying into Kevin Feige's MCU, which sucks, because they both would be amazing crossovers, but he did give us a slightly bigger taste of things to come.

As many of us know, Avengers: Infinity War is beginning to prepare the end of all things as we currently know it. We already are well aware that there's a moderately large possibility that we could see characters such as Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and even Black Widow could be making their ways out of the franchise.

While we already know that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be happening along with Ant-Man and The Wasp will prepare to happen, we can only consider what is about to happen. While we already know that the original 22-movie arc will end with an untitled Avengers movie on May of 2019, there's already a plan for Peter Parker and his Spider-Man sending up a new adventure starting July 5th, 2019, which will settle the dust for what happened in the previous film. Check out what Kevin Feige has to say about the upcoming plans:

“We are looking at a five-movie storyline — Civil War, Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, untitled Avengers, Homecoming 2 — or whatever we end up calling it — as an amazing five-story journey for Peter Parker, in the way that the events of Civil War directly inform the opening of Homecoming and his state of mind as he goes back to high school, so too will the events of the next two Avengers movies as he continues with high school. This original 22-movie arc ends with the untitled Avengers in May of 2019 and then two months later it will be Peter and Spider-Man (on July 5, 2019) that usher us into the aftermath and how things proceed from there.”

So What Exactly Will Happen with Tom Holland as Peter Parker?

While we already know Tom Holland seems to be down for the long run, we do know that there's a chance that Miles Morales could appear as Donald Glover has been cast as his uncle Aaron Davis. While we are sure we could very well see him take on the persona of Prowler.

While this could feed into what the future of Spider-Man movies will look like, we can only hope this will serve to speed up things for the MCU, and hopefully help us get something a bit more solid going. Lets just hope we get a chance to see Ant-Man (Paul Rudd as Scott Lang) appear in a Spider-Man cross-over or we could see Miles Morales take on the Spider-Man identity.
