Precure is a franchise you may not have heard about, but Glitter Force may ring a bell or two. Using Precure, Saban created an animated franchise aimed at girls, where young heroines would use their powers to fight the forces of evil. Essentially it is a Power Rangers for the younger female audiences. While Glitter Force is relatively new, Precure has been running for 15 years and 2019 marks the 16th team of magical heroines fighting to save the world, and perhaps this time the universe. A few months ago the title, "Star Twinkle Precure", was revealed along with the themes stars and art for the heroines to embody.

With the flames of passion ignited, fans have been trawling the internet like crazy for the first images of the newest Precures. With dozens of fake "leaks" flooding the web, finally an official image has dropped and fans are pretty pleased with what they see.

The first leaked image of the team

Fans had already guessed it was set to be a starting team of four heroines and their colours. The clue was behind the large star and the four coloured streaks coming off of it. Fans have also been please that their is the first ever tanned coloured Precure. The yellow Cure breaks from the pales toned Cures of the past and adds some new flavour to the look of the team. Given her height, along with the purple Cure, it is also being assumed they are older than the blue and pink Cures.

Some fans also believe the blue Cure is from outer space. Their have been suggestions and theories flying around prior to the reveal of the image, but given the difference in her outfits style compared to her team, the theory could pan out to be correct. Technically their are already past Precures from other planets. Shiny Luminous, Milky Rose, Cure Passion, Cure Beat, Cure Muse, Cure Sword, Cure Ace, Cure Scarlet, Cure Magical, Cure Felice and Cure Parfait all originate from other worlds.

Fans have also been happy with the break from the stereotype purple Cure. Past purple Cures have always had a lone-wolf and loner style of operating. The purple Cure in the image has a clearly happy and bright smile indicating a much happier and upbeat style of character. The fans are pleased with the look of the pink Cure, but the pink Cure is always a typical stereotype in Precure, so fans are ready for her perky and upbeat nature.

Fans have also noticed the purple Cure is most likely set to be powered by the moon, as she has a crescent moon in her hair accessory. This will mark the third Cure powered by the moon and the second to be purple. Some fans also theorise the blue Cure may embody comets, given the star and streak she has for her hair accessory. The yellow Cure is causing a divide as she has stars dotted around her, but also red coloured pearls. This makes some fans believe she will be powered by the sun and not stars. But you could argue both would be correct as the sun is a star. The biggest mystery is the pink Cure as their is no real indication of what her powers will be.

All that remains is now further details about the show. What are their names? What do they look like out of their Cure styles? Who are the villains? What is their fairy mascot's name? What will the plot for the series be? All these questions will be answered in the next two months, as the current series Hugtto Precure comes to an end.
