X-Men '97
The first two episodes of the new Disney+ series X-Men ‘97 were a hit! The show is very well executed and seems to be very well received on the internet. We left off the second episode with Storm leaving the mansion due to the sudden loss of her powers and a duplicate of Jean collapsing in front of the team.

Last week, a K-drama called Blade Man was released on JioCinema, which I finally finished watching yesterday. I was very excited to watch it, and in the process of watching it, I lost a whole day, which means I spent the whole day in my room.

For fans of the X-Men and fans of the animated series, X-Men ‘97 has been a long awaited project. For years now fans have begged the MCU to bring in the X-Men and though their live action involvement still seems to be a ways off they did give us a new animated series on Disney+. The original animated series is still considered one of the best adaptations of the team so how exactly does the new series hold up? Who would win in a fight? It’s a question people have been asking for decades when it comes to their favorite fictional characters. It’s a question that spawned one of the most successful YouTube channels. It’s the question I asked myself when I was watching Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.
6 Popular MCU Entries That 'Nobody Asked For'
In recent times, the once untouchable Marvel Cinematic Universe appears to have fallen from favour in the eyes of some fans. Many claim Marvel's newer projects simply aren't as good as the Infinity Saga. A common response to recent and upcoming projects, such as The Marvels (believed to have been unfairly treated by some), and the newly retitled Agatha, the WandaVision spin-off focusing on Agatha Harkness, is for some fans to cry:

Alright boys and girls we are headed to another convention! Wondercon comes to Anaheim this month and I am so excited. Among other things the talented and incredible Gail Simone will be in attendance and I am consumed with figuring out how to not fangirl all over her. She is literally one of my idols in the industry and I love her. The schedule of the weekend's events has been revealed and I, of course, thought I would share my plan.

Last night I felt like watching something, so I turned on Netflix and watched a superhero-based movie. I felt like reviewing it. The name of the movie is Psychokinesis, which comes on the list of South Korean superhero films. Its release date is 2018. And this may especially be liked by those who enjoy watching superhero-type content.

I think by now we all know how I feel about Zach Snyder and his storytelling ability (or lack thereof). I am not really sure why he was given a Star Wars project to begin with but here we are, Rebel Moon exists and it's pretty clear that it is a failure. Not sure when we are going to shove Snyder into cinematography where he belongs but I hope it's soon. He has proven over and over again that he is incapable of being a storyteller.

I know it took me longer than it normally does to finish this series but I do get distracted easily. Though Echo has kind of left the collective mind of the internet I think it is a very memorable and important show so I am kind of glad that I spread these episode reviews out so that I can keep talking about it. Echo was a giant step forward for Marvel in a lot of ways and I think anyone who says otherwise doesn’t have an opinion worth listening to. In the last episode Maya comes face to face with Fisk, who now has one eye due to their last interaction. These are the last 2 episodes of the very short series and it still feels like there is a lot to wrap up so here we go.

Strangely, there are few comic book characters quite as endearing as the lantern-jawed, shovel-headed, red-skinned, curly-tailed, seemingly aviator goggles-wearing (those are caps or something from where his horns were amputated) demon child turned alcoholic and incredibly taciturn adult male wandering hero Hellboy, who I take it was belched up from the lower depths to only be adopted by those charming old Brits involved in a super secret Occult Bureau investigating demonic and supernatural shenanigans on behalf of Her Majesty. I think that's the way it goes, but I better go and check.
