6 Most Important Moments In The 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special'
Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has officially come to an end with the release of The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney Plus. For the most part, the special was just a fun, festive epilogue to cap off the first Phase of the Multiverse Saga. However, Director James Gunn has revealed that, while as fun to write as it was to watch, the Holiday Special also served a practical purpose, as he was able to use it to set up certain plot points and characters that will be important in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, thereby saving time in that film.

What is in the box, exactly? In no particular order, it could very well be the following: Is it Gwyneth Paltrow’s head? A fair soon to be mother, whose life was cut short from an overzealous and envious man whose sole purpose was to expose the seven deadly sins.
Rand EinfeldtPublished about a year ago in GeeksThe Frustrating Indirectness of the Black Panther Series
Black Panther was an iconic moment in pop culture, and that's because white supremacist society is quite racist. Organizations like the Disney company have historically been very regressive in their portrayals of human difference (i.e., anything that goes against white supremacist, colonialist patriarchy). In the words of writer Sydney Paige: "The fact that black people are represented not with stereotypes, but as the smartest, wealthiest, most advanced, and the absolute royalty [of the] most powerful society is groundbreaking and momentous."
Alex Mell-TaylorPublished about a year ago in GeeksMale v Female Gaze
Just like our other heroines in the MCU, Black Widow was the first to suffer from the male gaze. Her treatment was admittedly the worst, being the most sexualized and used specifically and solely for male enjoyment. Black Widow and her treatment is also easier to track due to her being the first female avenger and amount of appearances. From her start the writers and directors wanted audiences to see Natasha as nothing more than an object, and yet her loyal fans saw so much more.

Maybe you’re jaded of the MCU enough to just know that a Squirrel Girl series on Disney+ is all but inevitable. Maybe you’ve just read Watchmen and are dying to read something else that's deconstructive/grown-up like that. Maybe you can’t wait for the next season of The Boys, but have discovered that the original comic (ironically) feels more like a tacky imitation of its adaptation.

With about a thousand adaptations of Superman in existence there is always plenty of talk around the fans of DC about which is the best. The reality of the situation is that there are many good adaptations but none as good, or as thorough as Smallville. The 2001 live action series set the bar high for all superhero media to come and yet none have lived up to the incredible nature of Smallville.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished about a year ago in GeeksTommy Oliver: the GOAT of Power Rangers
This hurts. This really hurts. I've been a Power Rangers fan since this amazing phenomenon kicked off all the way back in 1993, when I was only eight years old. I've seen many different Rangers for so many years, but the bottom line is, the absolute GOAT when it comes to the Power Rangers is, without question, Tommy Oliver. Sadly, we lost the man who gave us this iconic character, as on November 19, 2022, Jason David Frank passed away at the age of 49. The biggest understatement I could ever say is that Tommy was my favorite Ranger, because those five words just won't cut it. I need to give more than that, it's well deserved.

Wait, they were making a Batgirl movie? That was my initial thought when I heard about the cancellation of the Batgirl film. Guess I'm not up to date with the happenings in the film world of DC. Add the canceled film to the growing list of DC efforts that left fans disappointed.

If you're a comics fan, or just the big and small screen adaptations, you've likely seen the preview images for the "Black Panther" sequel, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," or you've seen the film. If you have, you've seen the widely discussed and semi-controversial reveal that Namor the Sub-Mariner, one of Marvel's first characters, is in the film. For some fans, this is a moment to celebrate. Wakanda is on the screen again, and Namor will be in a film for the first time. However, other fans are cringing. Why?
How to Make a Short Video
What is a short video platform? The emergence of short video platforms such as TikTok and YouTube shorts bring new opportunities to become a celebrity in a quick time. But the rules of the game are always the same, you must have a creative idea, great graphic quality, and entertaining content.
MCU: 8 Most Important Moments In Phase Four's TV Shows
After Avengers: Endgame brought the epic Infinity Saga, aka Phases One through Three, to a close, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was set to enter new ground with Phase Four, the beginning of what will now be known as the Multiverse Saga. The planning for Phase Four coincided with the arrival of Disney's own streaming service, Disney Plus, which has become the Streaming home of all Disney-owned content, including the Marvel Cinematic universe.

Marvel’s Black Panther drew a ton of fanfare in 2018, being widely praised for its blend of tradition and historical trappings. Following the unfortunate passing of Chadwick Boseman, Wakanda Forever was forced to strike out in a different direction. Luckily, Ryan Coogler and company have crafted an enjoyable follow-up that makes the most of the remaining pieces.
