The episode we have all been waiting for came and went. Along with it came many emotions. We have been waiting on this battle since season one episode one when we first had the shit scared out of us by white walkers. We all had our predictions about how this battle would go about. We all had our list of characters that we thought were going to die. Did your predictions come true? Did your favorite characters survive the battle against death itself?

The Battle of Winterfell was the longest TV battle filmed, taking 55 very cold and windy nights. This was the first episode this season to be directed by Miguel Sapochnik. Sapochnik also directed "Hardhome," Battle of the Bastards," and "The Winds of Winter." " The Long Night," even though I believe we will always call it The Battle of Winterfell, was written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

The intensity that built at the beginning of the episode was insane. Seeing everyone just standing there, staring into the darkness was so scary. Watching the lights of the Dothraki's army swords go out one by one was a true "oh shit" moment. I would have made an awful fighter, because at that moment I would have pooped my pants and run away.

The prettiest scene from the whole show maybe, was the scene were the dragons are up above clouds with the moon shining so beautifully behind them. Even with the darkness and terror going on down below, the night was still so beautiful. It's like they wanted to show the balance in the world. They showed that even in the mist of all the ugliness and fear, that there is still so much beauty and peace.

Now to the most shocking part of the whole episode, Ayra killing The Night King! Yes our little badass saved everyone. This is definitely not what I was expecting. The whole show has been leading us to believe it would be Jon Snow who kills The Night King. The show runners wanted to go with the unexpected, and that was certainly unexpected. The moment I saw her flying through the air behind The Night King, I screamed out loud. When he grabbed her by the throat, I gasped. Then when she plunged that valyrian steel dagger into his abdomen, I cheered. "What do you say to the God of Death, not today."

The long week of waiting was truly worth it. Even if it felt like I wouldn't make it. Now the wait for the next episode has begun. There seems to be a time jump in the next episode. Winterfell looks like it's been rebuilt. Also we can all rejoice, Ghost is still alive! We see him in the preview for next week. I was really worried about him after he ran towards the white walkers with the Dothraki. What were your favorite, and least favorite moments of "The Long Night"? What do you hope to see in the next episode? You can let me know by going to my Instagram page.
