Louisa waited until the house was quiet before leaving her room and headed quietly up the stairs to the top of the house. As she moved, she relied on her connection with Sebastian to pinpoint his presence in the mass of rooms and servant’s quarters. Reaching his door, she knocked quietly.

“Come in.”

Louisa opened the door and stepped inside, closing the door behind her. Sebastian sat in a chair holding a glass of wine. As her eyes adjusted to the light coming from the singular candle that sat on the table next to him, Louisa realised that he was completely naked. Louisa drank in the sight before her, her eyes moving across his muscular frame, long limbs, and angular features. The candle flickered, casting shadows across his face and chest. She followed the patterns down to his groin; his excitement at seeing her was already evident. Sebastian put down the glass.

“Come here.” He said.

Louisa crossed the room and stood in front of him. Sebastian reached out, grabbed her arm, and pulled her onto his lap. Without a word, he kissed her roughly and pushed his tongue into her mouth. He met no resistance as he explored her mouth, and none again when he slid his hand under her nightgown.

Sebastian released her from the kiss and smiled devilishly. “But you have been very naughty, and I must punish you first. Why were you naughty?”

Louisa looked at him longingly, “I was inappropriately dressed.” She said in little more than a whisper.

“When we are playing this game, and I am punishing you. Address me as Sir,” said Sebastian firmly.

“I was inappropriately dressed, Sir.” She said softly.

“Good girl.” Replied Sebastian. “Now lay across my knees and lift your nightgown."

As Sebastian brought his hand down for the last time, his grin widened, he never imagined that she would last through.

“Good girl, you did very well. Now slide down and get on your knees facing me and I will teach you something new.”

Louisa followed Sebastian’s instructions and soon found new ways to bring him pleasure that was reciprocated in equal measure. They played roughly with each other for the rest of the night, each hovering between human and demon form as they explored their boundaries and their deepening desires.

Sebastian held her as the last shivers of pleasure ran through her body, and she collapsed breathless onto his chest. He kissed her head and wrapped his arms around her. They lay there, not speaking, just holding each other close, lost in the pleasure and emotions that ran through them both. As Louisa’s breathing returned to something like normal, she slid across Sebastian and curled into his side. Sebastian held her tight and kissed her gently.

“You are amazing, my love, in my many millennia I have never met anyone like you before.”

As Louisa kissed his chest, an amused smile crept across her lips.

“What is so funny?” asked Sebastian, slightly confused.

“I just forget how much older than me you are,” she said, still grinning.

Sebastian playfully brought his hand down across her backside; Louisa pouted until Sebastian sat forward and kissed the offended cheek. As he curled back around her, they shared a long, deep kiss and Louisa trailed her fingers across his chest. The marks she had made earlier were already gone. Guessing her thoughts, Sebastian said, “It is almost impossible to leave a lasting mark on a demon. Our ability to heal is remarkable.”

“And I take longer because I’m half human?”

“Yes, but the more you embrace your demon side and explore your powers, the more that side will take over, and your ability to heal will increase.”

“Will I lose myself if that happens?” Asked Louisa, thinking about what happened the first time she had transformed.

“No, my love, your nature is who you are, and only you can decide to change that.”

Louisa’s mouth found his once more and they kissed until they were breathless again. As Louisa lay back down, Sebastian asked, “Is that why you won’t bite me? Are you afraid of what might happen?”

“Yes,” answered Louisa

“My love, only one thing will happen if you bite me; we will both enjoy it.”

Louisa smiled, raised her head and moved so that she could reach the soft flesh of his chest, just above his left nipple. She kissed his chest and ran her tongue along his skin. Sebastian moaned and held her tight as she transformed enough for her teeth to become sharp. She pressed them against his skin and bit down. As she pierced the skin and touched the soft tissue underneath, blood flowed from the wound.

Sebastian let out a low growl as she broke the skin and moaned deeply as she licked the blood as he had done when he bit her. Growing excited again, Sebastian rolled her onto her back, Louisa caught the look in his eyes as he too hovered between his two forms. She wrapped her legs around him; he pinned her hands above her head with one hand and grabbed her left breast with the other. Sebastian bared his teeth, lowered his head and bit deeply into the side of her left breast.

Louisa growled and pushed her body up to meet his. Sebastian released his grip on her hands and lapped up the blood from the perfect circle of puncture wounds. Sebastian pulled Louisa into his arms, and they embraced once more; neither wanting to move. It was Sebastian that finally noticed the first light of dawn appearing on the horizon.

“As much as it pains me, my love, I must return you to your room before the household awakes.”

Louisa snuggled in closer to him, not wanting to move.

“I don’t want to part from you either dearest, but we must at least be seen to be abiding by Ciel’s rules for as long as the contract is in place.”

Louisa raised her face to his. “I know, my love, but I hate waking without you by my side.”

Sebastian kissed her forehead, got out of bed, and dressed before picking up her nightgown. Looking at the tattered mess he had made of it, he exclaimed, “This won’t do at all,” and knitted together the broken strands. When he had finished, he sat up a very reluctant Louisa and placed the nightgown over her head and arms. Scooping her up into his arms, he held her tight against his chest and made for the door. Louisa threw her arms around his neck and cuddled into him; never wanting to let him go.

Too soon they arrived at her room. Sebastian laid her on her bed and peeled her arms from around his neck. He didn’t want to let her go, but exposing their relationship now carried with it too many risks. As he pulled the covers up over her, Louisa looked up at him.

“Malphas.”

“Yes, my love.”

“I love you.”

“And, I you, my love.”

He kissed her gently, and she drifted off to sleep.
