You don't need magic to perform a stunning transformation, and this cosplay and makeup artist proves it.

Weaving today's spell is Paige R., a.k.a. Bloodwrit, with a stunning series that pays glorious homage to Bioware's fantastic Dragon Age video game franchise, of which there are rumors of a fourth installment. First up are the Inquisitors and their respective tarot cards, and then it's back into some familiar territory and faces. These fabulous renditions of Morrigan and Leliana are striking, gorgeous, and completely spot-on.

Scroll on - I saved a very special treat for last. As if the static images weren't amazing enough, this makeup magician has gone above and beyond to give us a time-lapse video walking us through the making of Morrigan. This illustrated tutorial shows you exactly how this talented artist achieved this look — no blood sacrifice required. It's a transformation that's absolutely worth a watch.

Now enjoy the beauty! First up, Inquisitor Cadash!

Inquisitor Adaar

This striking Inquisitor comes with a tiny 12-second video that shows how amazing these works of art look in motion. Also, an awesome reaction to that annoying Orlesian noble who won't stop... breathing at you. Rude.

Inquisitor Levallan

Inquisitor Trevelyan

Spymaster Leliana

Morrigan, Witch of the Wilds

And now, witness the process behind the transformation.

Amazing, right? If a picture's worth a thousand words... Yeah, they're failing. I'm just glad talented, dedicated fans and works of art like these exist.

We are just about done with the Dragon Age awesomeness, but I checked Bloodwrit's Twitter today, and I'm so glad I did, because we've got some bonus content, and it is a treat. Look at this cutie.

I love my confused plant wife. I love her disregard for shoes and sweetness and determination and penchant for dangerous magical artifacts. And I love this interpretation of her!
