My Personal List of the Best Netflix Shows

The online streaming site is popular among people of all ages, consuming my, and many others', time. The feeling to kick back and binge watch endless episodes without advertisements is nearly the best way to end any day. But with the number of options and choices that Netflix offers can be a struggle to find the perfect show. Here are is my "Top 5 Binge Worthy Shows."

10. 'Glee'

This six-season show is an American comedy series that has known to capture the hearts of many. This 2009 Fox show allows us to explore the life of an optimistic teacher Will Schuester as he coaches McKinley high school's glee club called New Directions. Together we see a place where ambitious and talented students find love, betrayal, and drama while finding their own voice. As Schuester and the glee club pursue their goal of reaching nationals, they face opposition from a conniving cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester, who tries to sabotage the group.

4. 'Riverdale'

This CW show takes us on an adventure inspired by the 75-year-old comic book franchise "Archie Comics." The TV series captures the life of Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Cheryl Blossom, and many more. Starting off the first season when Cheryl's twin brother Jason disappears along Sweetwater River in Riverdale, and New Yorker Veronica moving into town. We experience love, murder, mystery, and drama as we enter the third season coming out on the CW October 10, later to be released onto Netflix.

3. 'Grey's Anatomy'

In this 14-season series, we get to explore the life of Meredith Grey, take on Seattle Grace Mercy Hospital, starting off as any other medical student would, an intern. She finds love, friends, enemies, and death not only near herself but to those closest to her. Along the way, we are introduced to various characters such as Christina, Derick, Arizona, Mark, Callie, Jackson, Izzy, Lexie, and many more. This show lets us in on the gruesome and adventurous experiences that happen in and out of hospitals with medical and personal emergencies. Overall, is one of my favorites with it constantly coming out with new seasons.

2. 'The Office'

This American sitcom is full of comedy, love, and action has created nine seasons that viewers have absolutely enjoyed. The show takes us behind the scenes of Dunder Mifflin, Inc., a paper company that does local sales. Taking place in Scranton, Pennsylvania. We get to see the location's regional manager, Michael Scott, who is odd, bossy, and enjoys an occasional "that's what she said" joke. Alongside him is the co-worker and volunteer sheriff Dwight Shrude, who has an unusual and nerd-like personality. While Jim, Pam, Stanley, Kevin, Toby, Andy, Angela, Ryan, Creed, and many more.

1. 'Friends'

This ten-season, 236-episode series is one for the books, being well known to every generation even though it was created it 1994. It captures the lives of Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Joey, and Phoebe. The New Yorkers go down life with living in the same apartment complex and reuniting with their high school friends and college roommates. We find our selves seeing four of these members hooking up and creating some of the best moments in television history. We get to take a look at love, family, jobs, and much more that make this show stand out. In the end, it is definitely one series that will never have their viewers "on a break."
