TV Shows That All 2000s Kids Grew Up Watching

We all know and love them!

1) 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody'

AH, the nostalgia. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody was iconic childhood entertainment for anyone who grew up in the 2000's. Following the twin brothers on their adventures around the Tipton hotel with the friends, and eventually girlfriends, was always a fun time.

FUN FACT (Did you know that London Tipton and the Tipton Hotel are actually a parody of Paris Hilton and the Hilton hotel??)

The second that theme song comes on, all of our hearts start to flutter. As soon as they grew up and moved out of the hotel, we were all upset, but lucky for us, they continued on to The Suite Life on Deck! Which brings me to my next item on the list...

2) 'The Suite Life on Deck'

Personally, this sequel to The Suite Life of Zack and Cody blew the original show out of the water. You get the fun and the frenzy of the original show, plus more fun characters and a more interesting location! Luckily for us, Mr. Moseby continues on the journey, but unfortunately Mr. Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramirez did not make the trip overseas with the boys. I know that really pulled on the heartstrings of many a young middle schooler. And we even get to follow the boys on many adventures in different countries when they get off of the boat on mini trips! Overall, nothing beats The Suite Life on Deck.

3) 'Arthur'

Some of my best childhood memories are sitting on the couch eating chocolate chip cookies and watching good ol' Arthur with my brothers. Arthur and Buster Baxter were the best of friends, and I know we all wished that we could be a part of that epic friend group. Muffy, Francene, Binky... and, of course, DW! I know we all got annoyed with her sometimes, but in the end, you can't live without her! From Buster's funky food collection to his fortune collection, and Arthur and Buster's matching slippers, an episode of Arthur was always a feel-good moment.

4) 'Wizards of Waverly Place'

It's still funny sometimes to remember that Selena Gomez was an actress before she was a chart-topping musical artist! Wizards of Waverly Place has to be her prime, however. I know that show made us all want to become wizards and witches, but more importantly, a part of the Russo family. On top of it, we all had a crush on one of the brothers at some point, let's be real ;) Then, when Wizards of Waverly Place came out with a movie, we all rushed to the couch and punched the numbers for the Disney Channel at once! Good times...

5) 'iCarly'

I know for a fact that after watching iCarly we all tried to convince our friends (at least once) to start a webshow with us. It's so funny to think that now there are so many Youtubers and "vloggers" when iCarly was really the original! We all wanted someone to be in love with us like Freddie is in love with Carly, and we all wanted to be as free-spirited as Sam. The adventures that bunch went on will be implanted in my brain forever.

6) 'Victorious'

And finally, to cap out this list, Victorious. I always thought of Victorious as the sister of iCarly. Same channel, same vibe. But one thing set it apart—the music. "Take A Hint" was my friends' and my anthem for YEARS! I remember belting along to it as my friends and I watched old reruns of the episode. But of course, that wasn't the only bop that came of Victorious. Like Selena Gomez on Wizards of Waverly Place, it's crazy to think that we watched Ariana go from playing innocent Cat on Victorious to being an all-star pop diva! We really got to watch her grow in her career.

Overall, these shows and the influence that they had on us really shaped a portion of our childhood. I know at least once our moms told us to stop watching "that TV Show" because we were acting too sassy. Thank you for reading. I hope that this took you for a trip down memory lane. :)
