Hollywood has a habit of remaking its greatest achievements, and rebooting them to fit the modern times. There has yet to be a time traveling tale that's achieved anywhere near the same fame or critical acclaim that Back to the Future reached.

The story of Marty McFly and Doc is timeless. While I doubt that anything can ever beat the original, what if they did remake the movie? Who would play the new cast?

I have compiled a list of actors to play all of the McFly's, Jennifer Parker, Biff Tannen, and of course The Doc.

Let's get started:

Dylan O'Brien as Marty McFly

Dylan O'Brien is on the rise fast. As far as fit goes, he may be the only actor that even comes close to doing the character that Michael J. Fox made famous any justice. His ability to not only play the clumsy side of Marty, and the brave heroic side are top notch.

He also is a musician who played in a band called Slow Kids at Play, this fits in nicely to Marty McFly's lore.

Bryan Cranston as Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown

Bryan Cranston as Doc Brown

This man's range is limitless. He can be the best dramatic actor in Hollywood, and then turn around and be the funniest. If you can only think of Heisenberg when you think of Cranston, then I urge you to remember him as Hal from Malcolm in the Middle.

He could pull off playing the somewhat psychotic Doc, better than anyone.

Emma Stone as Lorraine Baines-McFly

Emma Stone is everyone's favorite actress right now, and like the previous two actors on this list, has no limit to her range. Lorraine Baines-McFly is Marty's mother that he ends up spending a lot of his time with in her younger years.

Emma Stone can play the popular girl in school, and the girl that wrongly becomes infatuated with her son from the future. Emma Stone can bring the awkward comedy, and dramatics that the character needs.

Miles Teller as George McFly

Teller is best known for his smart ass attitude, but his upcoming portrayal of Reed Richards in Fantastic Four, shows that he is very capable of playing an awkward geeky type. His look is also reminiscent of Crispin Glover's portrayal of Marty's father.

Colton Haynes as Biff Tannen

Fans of MTV's Teen Wolf, may find Colton Haynes bullying Dylan O'Brien very familiar. It is for that reason I tried hard to find a different actor for this character, but was unsuccessful in finding a better fit. Haynes plays an obnoxious bully with the best of them, and also resembles the original actor (Thomas F. Wilson) fairly well.

Maybe having two Teen Wolf (a re-imagining of another famous Michael J. Fox film) stars is a nice nod to the original Marty McFly, Mr. Fox.

Lucy Hale as Jennifer Parker

The girlfriend of Marty, and later wife. Jennifer Parker has a positive attitude that keeps Marty grounded. Lucy Hale is great when it comes to playing a more quirky character like in Pretty Little Liars.
