If the latest #GameofThrones trailer sent a shiver down your spine with its wintery backdrop and exhaling #LenaHeadey, you weren't alone. Set to a slowed-down, but rousing, performances of "Sit Down" by James, the latest Season 7 teaser honed in on the three main contenders to sit on the Iron Throne. While Headey's #CerseiLannister sits uncomfortably on her chair, and with so few followers left around her, it looks like #JonSnow and #DaenerysTargaryen are finally making their moves toward King's Landing.

#EmiliaClarke's Daenerys has had a particularly long journey from her start in Pentos. After six seasons of trawling deserts and now sailing seas, even the latest trailer shows that Dany isn't quite at the spikey chair yet. So, perched on her rock and ready to make her next move, just where is Daenerys Targaryen?

With Cersei in King's Landing and Jon clearly in his adoptive family homestead at Winterfell, many will be questioning where the jagged rock we see Daenerys sitting atop actually is. Eagle-eyed viewers will recognize a familiar location, and if #GeorgeRRMartin's Song of Ice and Fire books are anything to go by, Daenerys is stopping off at an ancestral stronghold. It looks like the Mother of Dragons' sailing mission will take an interlude to gather her forces at Dragonstone.

As a location, Dragonstone has been featured heavily in the show, mainly as the seat of House Baratheon and the deceased "King" Stannis. In fact, with Stannis, Lady Selyse, and Shireen Baratheon all stabbed, hung, or burned alive, it is presumed that not many people currently occupy Dragonstone. Stannis took all his forces on his one-way mission to Winterfell, so the castle would likely be an easy place to conquer — especially with three dragons and an army of Greyjoys at your disposal.

Dragonstone was once the seat of House Targaryen before the family were all but wiped out. As a temple to the Targaryens you can clearly see the Valyrian styling of Dragonstone and the clue of having "dragon" in its name.

The only person with any current ties to Dragonstone would be Ser Davos Seaworth, who finds himself firmly on Team Snow alongside everyone's favorite mop-haired bastard. Various spoilers and rumors point to Jon and Daenerys meeting at some point this season, and with Dany at Dragonstone, it all makes sense. Davos will know that House Baratheon is now extinct, so alongside Jon, they could be eyeing Dragonstone as their next stop on the property ladder. If, for whatever reason, Jon and Davos decide to head to the Baratheon badlands, it would be the perfect place to cross paths with Daenerys and co.

Whatever happens in the rest of Game of Thrones, fans are speculating that Daenerys and Jon's united forces will take the throne from Cersei. However, just as the trailer doesn't, let's not forget about those White Walkers. You may remember back in Season 2 that Daenerys had a vision of the decimated throne room blanketed in snow. We now have to ask ourselves the question that even if Dany is the one to rule over Westeros, will there be any of the realm left at the end of Season 8?
