What is going to happen to our beloved characters? How many of them will die in the last season? What is going to happen with the Night King? There are a lot of questions and we want answers... in the meantime, let's guess.

There are no spoilers here for season eight! I promise!

Please feel free to read this article and feel safe from the dark threat of spoilers. Everything on this list is simply just a guess.

But... there are spoilers for the last seven seasons... so if you aren't caught up, please scroll with caution...

1. Cersei Wins

Fan Art By RuxDardiror

While a sad thought, still possible. She's not exactly a fan favorite yet she just keeps moving towards power. She is certainly determined enough to be queen of... well, everything... But does she have good enough strategies? Better yet, does she have enough allies?

I do know one thing for sure. Even if she owned every bit of land and every person called her queen... she wouldn't be happy. Not without her children. I have thought about it time and time again... If I were to put a bet on the ending, it would be this. I can just imagine Cersei sitting on a throne that means nothing now that she has lost so many men in battle. Yet, she still did defy some odds... So, should she be proud of herself? Is she proud of herself?

Was it worth it?

2. Jaime kills Cersei.

Artist: Quidia22

Do you remember that witch that told Cersei as a kid that she will get married to a king, that she would have three kids that weren't the kings, and they would all die before her... and how all of these predictions came true? Well, she also told her this:

"And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you."

This was stated in the books and not the TV show, so I suppose it's possible this won't happen in the show. However, the "valonqar" means little brother. Meaning that Cersei is going to die in the hands of her little brother. Of course, I first thought this was supposed to be Tyrion who kills her. Cersei also thinks this too. However, Cersei was technically born a few minutes before her twin brother Jamie. Jamie is also already known as the 'Kingslayer' for killing the Mad King Aerys when he wanted to kill his own people. Since we have already seen Cersei going too far in the past couple of seasons... who is to say that it won't happen again?

3. Everyone Dies

One of the worst possible endings that could happen is that everyone dies, which could easily be a possibility due to the Night King. However, that's a bit extreme... what's much more likely is that everyone loses in the way that's worst for them. They sacrificed what meant most to them for war. For example: Cersei lost all her children. So what does this mean for Jon Snow? Maybe it's that he will lose his two sisters. What about Tyrion? How could things get worse for him? I guess he could lose his queen... by the hands of his sister?

4. Things are going to get weird with The Mother of Dragons.

Artist: Donna Lee

It was already weird enough to watch Jon and Dany get it on while listening to the narration explaining that they are related. Now there is the potential that Dany isn't Jon's Aunt, but actually his half-sister. More specifically, some fans think that both Jon and Dany are children of Rhaegar. This would make more sense age-wise for why Dany is so much younger than her supposedly big brother Rhaegar.

As for things getting weird... neither know that they are related yet. I think it's safe to say that Daenerys won't care considering her family has tons of incest in it. In fact, when she was growing up, it always assumed she would marry her brother. However, Jon might not take the news well.

5. That is, if she doesn't die first.

Artist: enyamahuta

I've been looking at some polls of who fans think is most likely going to die next season and Daenerys is the top guess... by far. It makes sense that Daenerys is at risk of dying because, plot-wise, she's not the only who can tell the story of her rampage anymore. Both Tyrion and Jon are fighting for her as their queen and if she died, her battle could still continue.

6. Worse, all her dragons die.

Artist: MouseLemur

Before you get all fan crazy, yes I know one is an ice dragon already... but what if we lost two more? After all, Cersei still has that ultimate dragon weapon just waiting to be used.

7. Daenerys is Azur Ahai... and it ends up being a real letdown.

Artist: Christopher Burdett

Daenerys Targaryen has visions that her brother Rhaegar (yeah I know, she has a lot of love and hate issues) says that the song of the "Prince That Was Promised" will be “The Song of Ice and Fire.” So whoever Azur Ahai will be is the whole point of the series. In other words, the prince that was promised is kind of a big deal!

Since the title "Ice and Fire" makes you think of Starks and Targaryen, it points towards Jon Snow (who is half Stark and half Targaryen). With that said, we have a few other candidates as well. Good news for feminists! Apparently, the word 'prince' was just for the sake of translation from ancient Valyrian. So the 'Prince That Was Promised' doesn’t have to be a man.

Azor Ahai will appear:

“When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers,” "amid smoke and salt,” and he or she will “wake dragons out of stone.”

So, I know a lot of people seem to think this going to be Jon Snow, and with good reason... but you have to admit that these predictions sound a lot like the stuff Daenerys has been doing, you know, the Mother of Dragons... Who kind of already woke dragons from old stone eggs... just saying.

At one point, I thought it could be Jon and Dany's child, but that would be really surprising since Dany is supposedly not able to have kids anymore since she tried to let a witch save her husband.

8. Jon is Lightbringer!?

Unknown Artist

For those of you who don't know, there is a prophecy that the Lightbringer is a weapon. It is said that the Lord's Chosen (a.k.a the prince that was promised) would pull the Lightbringer from fire and become 'Champion of the Lord of Light.'

In the books, the 'Lightbringer' is sword owned by Stannis Baratheon. The sword is described as quite intense. As said by Sam Tarly:

"It glows as if it were on fire. There are no flames, but the steel is yellow and red and orange, all flashing and glimmering, like sunshine on water, but prettier."

After Melisandre gets her hand on Stannis Baratheon's sword, she notices right away that something is wrong. It lights up, but it doesn't emit heat. Meaning, it's possible that the legend's version of the Lightbringer might have never been a sword in the first place... this leaves the possibility open that a person could, in fact, be the Lightbringer.

9. The Hound will lose in Cleganebowl.

Artist: Ertacaltinoz

Just in case you don't already know, Cleganebowl is the ultimate sibling rivalry battle between 'The Hound' and 'The Mountain' (a.k.a Sandor Clegane Vs. Gregor Clegane). As I'm sure you remember, the reason The Hound has his face half burned up is because his older brother did that to him after catching him playing with his toy, and it sounds like The Hound is still a little sour about the whole thing.

In the last season The Hound went up to his now zombie brother and threatened him:

“It’s not how it ends for you, brother. You know who’s coming for you. You’ve always known.”

So it sounds like Cleganebowl is actually going to happen, the question is: Are we going to lose another beloved character?

10. Sam wrote it all.

Artist: Kieran Belshaw

This is a very popular fan fiction theory, but also one of the most boring, which is why it is last on the list. Sam is becoming a pretty smart guy while he has been doing all of his reading and writing. He has also very recently gone rogue and took a bunch of books with him... along with some very valuable information. So it's very possible that this one character is supposed to be the author and was actually present to some of the events mentioned in the book. For this to be true, some people need to still be alive at the end in order for the concept of a History Book to remain relevant, so I guess this theory is actually good news.

Keep in mind that this is the last season.

If you haven's heard yet, there is some super bad news to go with this Game of Thrones season. For starters, it is the last season of Game of Thrones, a bittersweet feeling for everyone. I'm happy to finally see the ending and hopefully get a lot of closure from the story, but I'm also so sad that it's over.

Some more bad news is that it isn't being released until 2019. This is something I have decided that I am okay with because I am afraid Daenerys is going to die... The delay in making the final season also makes me think that this last season is going to be super polished and amazing! As opposed to just pumping it out for the money. So HBO, I will wait however long you need me to.

The last of the sad news is that the final season is supposedly only going to last six weeks? With that said, I don't know how many hours each episode is and Game of Thrones has been known to change the rules of television and even start new trends. It's also possible they are splitting the last season into two sections on six weeks with a midway finale.

Thank you!
