Atari and Audiowear Have Teamed Up to Release a Limited-Run 'Blade Runner 2049' Line of Speakerhats
The 'Blade Runner 2049'-themed caps will feature high-fidelity stereo speakers, a microphone, and Bluetooth-support.
Known for their classic video game consoles, publishing of video games, and a small hand in the entertainment industry in a press release the company sent out earlier today. Atari has taken a step forward into a new business avenue with the Atari Connect Life product line, which will feature a #BladeRunner2049 inspired Speakerhat, powered by Audiowear.
The company has announced that this baseball-style cap will feature high-fidelity stereo speakers, a microphone, and Bluetooth-support will be featured with this limited-run line. The hats will feature the ability for wearers to connect to the hat instantly using a Bluetooth-supported device such as their mobile phone, tablet, computer, or gaming devices using both its speakers and microphone for a new social experience.

The hat will also allow for the listening of music, movies, and other forms of media through the hats speakers. According to Atari, these precision-designed hats have been engineered for the best experience possible whether you are a gamer, a streamer, an outdoor enthusiast, a skater, a musician, or even a replicant looking to enjoy their music while on-the-go.
According to Atari Connect COO, Michael Arzt in the official press statement, the company is continuing to "prove it's staying-power and relevance as a true pop-culture lifestyle brand. With the recent reveal of our Ataribox project and now with Atari Speakerhats and the AtariLife.com website, we are building toward a full offering of connected personal devices and lifestyle products that will deliver entertainment, technology, social connectivity and fashion to a whole new generation of Atari fans, while also honoring the decades of affection and devotion from our most loyal ones.”
The company has announced that the collection is now available to order exclusively through their new AtarLife.com store. The Officially Licensed Blade Runner 2049 Limited Edition Atari Speakerhat is just as cool as it sounds. The hat comes with a sleek looking Blade Runner 2049 logo on the back of it, with a teal Atari "Kanji" logo on the front in order to help others see you while you walk through the crowds to see the film.
What does it cost to snag one of these slick little hats? $139.99. While the price is a little steep, it seems well deserved considering what the hat is quite capable of.

The iconic Mel Blanc once said that he enjoyed voicing Sylvester, one of his favorite characters.
