Aww-vengers: Elizabeth Olsen Confirms Wanda And Vision's Love Story In 'Infinity War'

Back in April, Avengers: Infinity War set photos leaked, showing Vision (Paul Bettay) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) getting their smooch on — with Vision appearing oddly human. Fans, naturally, had a lot of questions and theories about this.

Vision's importance to Infinity War makes perfect sense considering that Thanos is coming to Earth to collect the the Infinity Stones, one of which happens to be the Mind Stone ... which is lodged in Vision's forehead. So, does Vision become human when Thanos removes it? Or is his appearance some kind of disguise at the beginning of the movie?

That's a mystery for now, but as for the romantic element with Wanda, Elizabeth Olsen confirmed it recently when speaking with We Got This Covered. Asked if her relationship would be explored further in the upcoming Avengers film, Olsen answered:

"In any other world I would say, 'I don’t know,' but because there are paparazzi photos that kind of spoil things for fans – I think it’s safe to say that we now get to explore that part of the comic book. We get to introduce and really explore their relationship. It creates a really exciting arc for me and I’m so lucky I get to work with (Paul) Bettany all the time now."

It's interesting that the film will take the time to explore a romance considering all the other intergalactic action stuff going on. We'll find out just how prominent the love arc will be when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4th, 2018.
