Cinemagraph This Week : #1 John Wick Looks Wickedly Beautiful!

So, I watched John Wick this week [Loved the soundtrack more than the movie] and decided to make cinemagraphs. It’s been a while since I made one. So, what is a Cinemagraph?

Cinemagraph is actually a series of photographs (mostly still photos) masked to focus only on smaller and repeated movements. And yes, it is in animated GIF format.

I use Photoshop. But the workflow is faster and there’re plenty of options when done in After Effects.

The term "cinemagraph" was coined by Fashion photographers Kevin Burg and Jamie Beck. Have a look at their website.

That's it! John Wick is a cult - strictly choreographed action flick and try to keep count of Keanu Reeves' kill-streak. Loved the CG blood. We'll get to see a lot of dinner reservations made by John Wick in the near future with a sequel in progress and Lionsgate pushing for a 'John Wick' franchise!
