Marvel Superheroes
Welcome to the Marvel Cinematic and Comic Universe, exploring all things superhero and villain. Excelsior!
Marvel Studios' 'Endgame'
Tony Stark—adrift in space, with nothing except the companionship of Nebula’s presence—sends a message to his one and only Pepper Potts. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers— Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, and Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk)— must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos—the evil demigod who decimated the planet and universe with a snap of his fingers. However, these heroes might not be alone. The strongest MCU hero to date—Captain Marvel—accompanies the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes for revenge—which may actually be their last.

Oh, the love of my life, James Buchanan Barnes, there are so many directions for the MCU to take his character after the resolution of Endgame. He could (and should) be the one to take up the mantle of Captain America (he is the other super soldier, I know falcon would also be comic book accurate but it makes much less sense don’t fight me on this), but as seen in Black Panther’s end credit scene, apparently White Wolf is an option for the future of Bucky Barnes (which makes no sense whatsoever but sure). So let’s talk about just how much of this character the MCU has left to explore.

Captain Marvel is a fierce super heroine whose serialization started in 1967, so our girl has been around the sun a quite a few times. However, with the expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she has finally gotten her turn at a movie—and wow, what a movie it was!
Delise FantomePublished 5 years ago in GeeksWhy 'Captain Marvel' Is So Important
Ever since a Captain Marvel movie was announced, a lot of people had opinions about the character. Most of them were positive, but some were a bit negative. Fast foward to a few weeks ago when the movie reviews started pouring in.
'Infinity Gauntlet'—'Infinity War'
As we know the MCU’s Infinity War had little to nothing to do with the actual Infinity War comic. The cinematic story actually follows closer to Infinity Gauntlet and by closer I mean... There is an Infinity Gauntlet. Though neither comic book story line is really reflected in the MCU’s biggest Avenger’s movie, there are bits and pieces from Infinity Gauntlet that could possibly come into play in Endgame (whether we want them to or not).

Captain Marvel is the 21st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe under Disney, a segment of a singular narrative that has being told over the course of 11 years, at the point of this writing. The film is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the duo behind, Mississippi Grind, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, and Half Nelson. The duo shares writing credits with Geneva Robertson-Dworet whose previous work so far is the 2018 incarnation of Tomb Raider, with story credits going to Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman, who has previously worked on Inside Out and Guardians of the Galaxy respectively.
A Frame-by-Frame Analysis of the Official 'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer

A not-so surprising amount of controversy has arisen out of this film, and it seems to be for the sake of causing controversy. I don't see the foundation for calling this movie terrible just because the main character is a woman, but I also understand that Brie Larson has been somewhat provoking it. Her moves are also understandable because these are conversations that need to be had for the world to progress. However, I'm not here to comment on it. I just want to review the film.
Sam GamblePublished 5 years ago in Geeks'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer Crashes Without Notice
That came out of nowhere! I woke up this morning, and we had the second trailer for Avengers: Endgame. I am just blown away! Only one week removed from Captain Marvel, taking hold of audiences everywhere, introducing us to the newest member of the team, as well as giving us some footage of Captain America, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, and Rhoadie meeting Carol Danvers. So a lot to breakdown here, if you are sensitive to spoilers, leave now. And if you haven't seen the trailer yet, then I've included at the bottom. Scroll down super fast, watch it, then come back up. Okay, you have been warned, now it's your fault.

So many comics to read, so little time! When the first publication of Marvel's famous superhero comics were released in October of 1939 under Timely Comics (before the 1960s name change to Marvel Comics), you'd be smart to bet that this helped feed the increasing demand for quality comics.
Nathaniel Channing IIIPublished 5 years ago in Geeks4 Reasons Why Ultron Could Return in 'Avengers: Endgame'
As Endgame plans to launch on April 26 with a near three-hour runtime, there's likely to be tons of action and story to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Because of the lack of knowledge provided, information can only be speculated based on the trailer and teaser on what will happen. Theories from time travel to Tony Stark's death, one theory that I want to mention is the return of Ultron, who was the MCU's big bad in the second Avengers film. From the appearance of Marvel's characters to subtle hints in MCU films, here are some reasons why Ultron could come back. This is all speculation and has not yet been proven.
