Company Designer For Pokemon Killed In Windstorm
Eric Medalle Has Been Tragically Killed In A Windstorm In Seattle. Luckily His Daughter Survived.
Eric Medalle who was the Pokemon company creative design director has been killed in a windstorm. On Sunday afternoon a fir tree came crashing down onto Eric's SUV at Seward Park. Eric Medalle's little daughter was also in the SUV in the back seat. She luckily survived with minor injuries.
Eric Medale joined Pokemon in 2003, his work can be seen on Pokemon HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black, White, Black 2, White 2, X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire and a lot of other games. Medalle is responsible for the English logos for the Pokemon XY and Pokemon: Black and White TV anime along with many Pokemon movies.
Medalle's funeral will be held on Thursday. There has been a crowdfunding page set up for Eric's daughter to help pay her college tuition fees. The page reads:
“Eric’s expectation for his daughters was college, and to honor that expectation, we can ensure that college remains a reality for his girls. It is important that Isa and Nico are able to learn and grow, to discover what they love and pursue it to the fullest, just as their father did. This memorial fund will exist as a means for ongoing education and lifelong learning, a pathway that Eric helped to pave for his girls.”
Eric has sadly left behind his beloved wife and two lovely daughters. All condolences go out to his family and friends.

Sylvester was a Merrie Melodies canine Sylvester, the Cat, is a beloved Looney Tunes character who debuted in March 1947 in the animated short Life with Feathers. The iconic Mel Blanc once said that he enjoyed voicing Sylvester, one of his favorite characters. The cartoon short that was near and dear to Blanc's heart was Bird's Anonymous which starred the popular cat.
