To everyone saying this movie is horrible because kids shouldn't say bad words or think about sex—this movie is the most realistic depiction of 12-year-olds I've ever seen.

Here We Go!

Good Boys is a comedy film written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky and directed by Stupinitsky. This movie follows three 12-year-olds who go on a crazy series of misadventures before going to a kissing party, all while learning about sex, drugs, and alcohol.

Now, it wasn't until after this movie when I found out that this movie was written by the team behind some of the best episodes of The Office. Yes, this is the writing duo behind "Dinner Party" and "Scott's Tots," so that really explains why I loved it so much.

When I judge comedies, it's really a matter of how much the movie makes me laugh, and when it comes to this movie, they did not fall short of laughs. I was consistently laughing from start to finish, and I was one of the loudest people in the theater.

This movie is basically one hilarious sequence stacked on top of another hilarious sequence. The style is almost like an action movie, where it's just one great idea, then another great idea, and then another, all tied together with a story.

One of my favorite things about this movie is how, even though these kids are always cursing and saying inappropriate stuff, they are also very naive. They think they know everything there is to know, but they don't, and that's what was really funny about their characters.

All of the performances are really great, but in particular, Jacob Tremblay was awesome. Anyone who watched Room or Wonder knows that Tremblay is a fantastic dramatic actor, but this movie showed that he is perfectly capable of pulling off very raunchy comedy.

Now, that's another thing you should know about this movie. It is INCREDIBLY inappropriate. The jokes are over-the-top, and have a TON of profanity and sexual references, and if that's not your thing, you won't like it, but I found it to be hilarious.

The comedy in this movie is so non-stop and so unrelenting that I could barely even catch a breath before laughing at the next joke. The comedy was expertly written, and I thought this movie was really funny.

Something that I wasn't expecting was that this movie was actually pretty heartfelt. Despite being a hilariously inappropriate comedy, it also had some dramatic scenes that built the characters really well, and kind of pushes this movie into a coming-of-age film as well.

However, I think that the biggest issue with this movie is that it feels a bit too familiar. We essentially have a movie with the same general premise as Superbad and Booksmart, and while this movie rivals those two in terms of comedy, it doesn't do anything new with the formula besides make the kids younger.

Because of that, this movie can be predictable and formulaic, and the amount of stuff that they get away with in this movie is a bit unrealistic and it could be hard to buy into.

The jokes, however, remain fresh and it's a movie that will make you laugh if you're a fan of this type of film, and don't mind watching young kids curse and do ridiculous stuff. I like any movie that can make me laugh, and this movie did the job.

I'm gonna give 'Good Boys' an 8/10 (B).

If you're not a fan of Seth Rogen's movies like Superbad, and you don't like this type of movie, you're not gonna like it, but for everyone else, this movie is a pretty great time at the movies that is guaranteed to make you laugh.
