Author

She's the hero we've been waiting for. Yes, I mean Sarah J. Maas.

The way she writes—it just takes my breath away, so detailed it reminds me of Lord of the Rings, while still so bright and clear.

She captures your attention right away, and from the very first sentence she had mine in her magical grip the Throne of Glass (TOG) series.

When I pick up a book from the TOG series, I get chills knowing there's a whole series: A Court of Thorns and Roses; it's just waiting for my soul to get sucked in.

I can't wait to see what else our Sarah J. Maas has hidden in her beautiful mind.

Next? For who?

1, 2, 3, 4...

That's how many I have left in the TOG series, and as I said, Sarah J. Maas isn't even near the finish line.

No no no, with the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and Assassin's Blade prequel novellas (there are six stories in that one), and there's also a book that's called Catwoman: Soulstealer. There's so much to read!!!

Well, you may ask if Sarah J. Maas work is for you. So, please, if you like the on-your-toes feeling, TOG is the answer. The twists, the character development throughout the series, the fights, and the world in itself just give you everything you need for a brilliant heart-stopping, soul-sucking, fantasy adventure.

Final Thoughts

As a big book lover, the first page of a book is critical. Even the first sentence has to be brilliant enough to capture a reader's attention for her/him to keep going.

When I find a new book, I read the first pages to see if the book is for me, and I remember the rush of a feeling I got from TOG's first book. I knew it was going to be fantastic—then and there, I knew.

The time period of this world was... I would say the 1800s. The clothes Celaena and the other characters are wearing remind me of that, mixed with Erilea's own culture.

The way it's written gives away enough for you to crave more, to wonder about what's going to happen next, to be afraid to turn the page, but also eager to do exactly that.

If I could, I would read every single book right now at this very moment, but I can't right now because my life is filled with normal, boring kind of stuff so I have to take my time with the story.

That's all for now, but I hope you enjoyed, running to the bookstore or library to get your first Glass of Thrones book—happy reading!
