Paging Dr. Munsch: Jamie Lee Curtis Returns In Latest 'Scream Queens' Promo.
The promos for the second season of Scream Queens are coming thick and fast, and now it's Jamie Lee Curtis's Dean/Dr. Munsch who stands front and centre.
The promos for the second season of Scream Queens are coming thick and fast, and now it's Jamie Lee Curtis's Dean/Dr. Munsch who stands front and centre. It's time to hype up the hypodermic needles as Ryan Murphy's campy horror will be swapping sororities for scrubs when the show returns next month. Aquamarine always was my colour!
Heading to the hallowed halls of a medical institute, returnees Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lea Michele will be joined by newcomers Taylor Lautner and John Stamos. Seemingly following on from the first promo, which centered on the three Chanels (played by Roberts, Billie Lourd and Abigail Breslin), we see horror legend Jamie Lee Curtis flanked by our first peek of John Stamos and Taylor Lautner. Both Lautner and Stamos are tipped to play dishy doctors who are sure to catch the attention of the (reformed) Chanels. We aren't calling on the Grey's Anatomy comparisons, but is anyone thinking McDreamy?
We are also super psyched to hear that amongst those familiar faces on the ward, Niecy Nash will be returning as the world's worst security guard Denise Hemphill. With all those scalpels and botched face-lifts around, it won't be long until the corn syrup starts to flow - especially considering a relatively large number of the cast survived the bloodbath of Season 1. Who will be departing Season 2 in a body-bag, and who will be making a full recovery?
Originally planned as an American Horror Story-style anthology, Murphy scrapped that idea early on, deciding to keep the original characters. Whilst the setting may have changed, we' like literally' couldn't be happier to be taking on the Chanels one more time. The question is though, will the Red Devil Killer be swapped with a green-scrubbed equivalent?
Whilst we wait for Season 2, why don't you 'scrub' up on what happened first time around over at Kappa Kappa Tau. Scream Queens airs on Tuesday, September 20.
