'So Much More Than They've Got Planned': Beauty And The Beast TV Spot Hits The Perfect Note
Beauty and the Beast may be the most anticipated film of 2017 for Disney fans.
Beauty and the Beast may be the most anticipated film of 2017 for Disney fans. Days after Christmas Emma Watson's singing had been leaked online for fans to finally get to hear the infamous song "Something There" being sung for the first time.
Tonight during the #GoldenGlobes, Disney finally released a TV spot featuring Emma's lilting voice over the trailer as we see new scenes playing across the screen.
Belle Searches For Her Father
The trailer opens much like the original, with Belle coming to the castle looking for her father, after he has gone missing.
The Rose
We are able to get a clearer image of the Enchanted Rose, with the Beast looking at it. Those claws are pretty impressive.
No Doubt Who Is Singing
We have a clear shot of her on the hillside, singing "Belle (Reprise)" in a much more soft and gentle tone than we are used to from the original Paige O'Hara version.
Beauty And The Beast
It even gives a clear shot of the ballroom scene for us to see the romantic dance between her and the Beast, before the trailer ends with the heart-racing climax on the rooftops, showing us the tone of the movie will most likely be both dark and a bit light-hearted.
Disney also released a brand-new poster to go along with the new #BeautyandtheBeast TV spot:
It's a surprise to see all the main characters in their human form, which is a definite surprise as I would have thought they would keep that a secret. But you can see them all there smiling; Belle in the middle holding up what appears to be Lumiere and Chip, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts are standing in front of her. She also seems to be in the West Wing from the broken window and torn curtain, so she better be careful... we all know it's forbidden.
Beauty and the Beast is truly my favorite childhood film, and I am pleased to say that as a fan it is exceeding my expectations and making me very happy to see it coming to the big screen again. #EmmaWatson has a lovely singing voice, and I can't wait to see the rest of the cast singing and their performance.
