Lacrosse captain Jackson Whittemore left Teen Wolf's Beacon Hills four years ago — after a turbulent season — as a violent kanima before he finally got his wish to become a werewolf. In spite of, or maybe because of, his arrogance, Jackson was a fan-favorite character, and everyone wanted him to return for the series' final season.

When it was confirmed that Colton Haynes would reprise his role as Jackson, a picture began to circulate of Jackson walking side by side with Ethan, another werewolf who'd left the show after his twin was killed. And speculation began, as viewers wanted to know whether Jackson and Ethan were returning as a couple.

Not only has Teen Wolf executive producer Jeff Davis confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the pair are now in a relationship, but this was the plan for Jackson all along:

"I thought, if Jackson comes back, he’s coming back in a relationship with a guy. Whether that means he’s bisexual or gay, that’s how he’s returning. I just felt like he went off to London and found himself.”

And according to the above sneak peek of the couple that EW debuted, it looks like things are working out... well, sort of. We can't be too surprised that everything isn't running smoothly for the two werewolves. Though he seemed to have everything, Jackson was never happy, and his anger issues were right on par with Liam's.

Now that he's found where he really belongs, we'll most likely see a different Jackson when he returns to Beacon Hills as Haynes agrees that the relationship is a good fit:

“It makes total sense. That’s why Jackson carried around that angst. They complement each other perfectly. They have a really beautiful relationship.”

The couple have been living in London, and hopefully, we'll learn a little more about how they found one another before all hell breaks loose in Beacon Hills. And, if Davis is looking for a spinoff idea, we know two werewolves in London who could make it work.
