'Avengers: Infinity War'

10. 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'

The sequel to the first and superb film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 picks up not that long after the first. We meet our group of unlikely heroes on a planet, fighting a giant octopus-like alien (couldn’t get any better right?), and, due to Rocket’s kleptomania, the gang finds themselves in deep trouble with Ayesha the High Priestess of the Sovereign. Along the way, they meet a pretty important figure from Peter’s past; you could almost say someone like family.

9. 'Captain America: Civil War'

This movie promised fans a giant fight between team Iron Man and team Captain America. It also had tons of fans asking whether or not the movie would be an adaptation of the comic book and end up killing "Cap" or would it be a somewhat loose adaptation instead. An added bonus to all of this was the first MCU appearance of both Spider-Man and Black Panther. Although I must admit, I've always been team "Cap" and not that big of an Iron Man fan.

8. 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'

Spidey's first solo movie in the MCU was something that was bound to be great. Everyone loved him in Civil War, and the promise of a young Peter trying to juggle school, aunt May, and The Vulture made everyone happy. This movie showed us Peter as he officially adjusts to life as Spider-Man after the events in Germany and the rise of villains in the possession of some alien tech from the attack on New York. The only one who can save the day is your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

7. 'The Avengers'

This is the movie everyone knows and talks about, the culmination of years of subtle hints that these larger than life characters are all in the same movie universe. The first time we've ever seen a group of super-heroes on the big screen, in the same picture. What you need to know is that something big and bad is coming, and Nick Fury needs to form a team, a team of heroes that can stop the incoming attack. This is also the movie that introduced countless people to the greatness of comic-books and their movie counterparts.

'The Avengers'

6. 'Thor: Ragnarok'

Thor + a hint of "Planet Hulk" = Thor: Ragnarok. The big showdown between Hulk and Thor is all anyone would talk about. They've been teasing the viewers with such a battle since the first Avengers movie and we finally get to see it. Plus, the movie promised a more comedic and fun version of Thor, and man oh man was it the perfect decision, turning Thor from a bland tough guy to everyone's favorite Avenger, as well as introduce the first female villain in a Marvel movie.

'Thor: Ragnarok'

5. 'Avengers: Infinity War'

The movie all the other Marvel films have been building up to for ten years. To say this is a film would be the understatement of the century, because this is a cinematic event. The fans finally getting to see Thanos in action, since all we've seen of him is his chair-sitting abilities, which are excellent, don't get me wrong. Plus, the promise of someone on the team dying by the end of the movie was made, but little did we know what the Russo Brothers had in store for us. Another giant plus is BEARDED CAP! Oh, and bring some tissues because there are going to be tears.

'Avengers: Infinity War'

4. 'Black Panther'

The first superhero movie led by an almost entirely black cast seems like a great idea that should have happened ages ago. But with the success of the MCU and fans response to T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War prompted Marvel and Disney to quickly start production for Black Panther. An introduction to a beautiful new world (Wakanda) and new characters opens up the MCU to much greater opportunities in the future, all that coupled with beautifully choreographed fight scenes makes for a great Marvel movie.

'Black Panther'

3. 'Doctor Strange'

Entering the world of the mystic arts could’ve been a confusing and jarring one. Thankfully, due to Scott Derrikson's mastery, as well as Benedict Cumberbatch’s phenomenal performance as Strange, it turned out to be an excellent and fresh new spin on the usual cookie-cutter heroes we were used to getting. That, coupled with a slew of amazing special FX to show the wonderful world of magic, makes for an excellent movie.

'Doctor Strange'

2. 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

This movie is the best way fans could’ve been introduced to the Marvel cosmic universe. Guardians is the most fun, energetic, hilarious, and touching marvel movie. From the start, where we see Peter’s mother die, until the credits roll, this movie is excellent and should be watched by everyone. Although, you will need a box of tissues in the beginning. Enjoy!

'Guardians of the Galaxy'

1. 'Captain America: Winter Soldier'

One of the most well-received Marvel movies ever, Winter Soldier is the second movie in the Captain America trilogy and is filled with twists and turns, double crosses, espionage, and it shook up the entire MCU in its aftermath. We also get a twist (twists for people unfamiliar with comics) that adds a huge emotional weight to the movie. Prepare yourself and enjoy the best MCU movie.
