Spiritual Breathing
The Covid-19 pandemic is still prowling in our lives, which cannot be denied and certainly, there has been something for everyone to think, reflect and come to terms with what the reality has become. Most of the people around the world, myself included, find themselves in the process of 'rehabilitation'. In the quest of giving a rational explanation on how we could turn our lives around or, for the most courageous, start it over.

How Australia has changed me
...Back from the chapter 1!: --------------------------------- My last memory of Melbourne was a bit gloomy, sad, mixed with a sense of defeat. On a late afternoon, near the end of November 2014 I was loading my stuff on a taxi that was taking me to the Tullamarine International Airport: my parents got me a last-minute flight back home. 'Damn it'-I repeat in my head- 'What could have possibly gone wrong?- I was so pissed off! And with no desire to go back to Italy, not even a remote one. Anyway, the next day I woke up in Rome once again, in my bed surrounded by things I was trying to take a break from, perhaps, run away from. (not to be harsh, but my emotions were pretty tangled and tense at that time). To be clear, I never had any resentment or hate towards my family whatsoever. It was just that the feeling of stretching myself beyond my current life, trying something new was loud and pulsing.

The gentle whisper of introverts
I would like to start this article penning down the name of the girl whose video caught my attention not long ago, while I was walking on my own, reconnecting with my inner self. Sofja Umarik. Her video was posted on the channel BBC IDEAS on January 29th this year. The video and the words were the main reason to start sharing my introvert path. Last but not least, her gentle voice along with her cute illustrations and all the graphics played a part in sparking my attention. I soaked it and I felt calm, relaxed and in a peaceful state of mind: it was like I was walking on something very soft, pretty much like the substance of clouds. I listened to the video three times in a row.

The Masterpiece of Despair and Hope
What inspired me to write this article is the resonance of a ground-breaking woman in our History: Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin, better known as Mary Shelley. The 2018 movie "Mary Shelley" directed by Haifaa Al Mansour brings alive the sorrowful, challenging, but yet compelling life of one of the most inspiring women in Romanticism.

Food Is All We Have Left
We are what we eat. Isn't it? For centuries food has always been a primary element of culture, tradition and community; but what if something has changed along the way, what if food is turning into a social factor that tells much more about you than ever before.

If We Listen to Our Body, It Will Tell Us the Unexpected
As strange as it may sound when something terrible happens, or whatever rejection we get, that small little crack inside our body 'hurts' in that place that we didn't even realise we had. And I am not talking about death, whom sorrow belongs to the cycle of life, but the common everyday roadblocks, such as discouraging moments, disillusions, unrequited love, just to name a few.

The Mysterious World Inside Your Mind
One day someone told me that, If you know who you are, life will be easier. A straightforward statement to write, as much it is to read. And indeed the question "who we really are" it is a current state of mind, which permeates our personal and psychological wellbeing. The steady question that the majority of us has to face in everyday lives. "What am I doing, where am I going, Am I doing it right, what if..." We are tirelessly chasing our goals, our results, our success!

Isabel Allende
Today I thought the time had come to write about a fascinating writer in South American Literature who has meant a lot to me over the past 13 years. Her name is Isabel Allende, whose books have reached the intimate layer of everybody's soul, with the relentless mission to spread the powerful inner voice simmered in every woman around the world and where the magical dimension entwines with reality. Most of her novels contain aspects of the genre called "Magical Realism."

In the Name of Fashion
What do fashion and style mean to us? For somebody, it's a coloured outfit, accessories or a fancy car, for others it's a t-shirt or a pair of shoes; for others still, it might be just a way of being expressive creating their one. Moreover, there might be a small segment of people who don't quite care or, perhaps, never known what fashion word is.
