(WARNING: Spoilers for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 and Avengers: Infinity War follow)

The newest trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 aired on last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, giving us with our first look at Kurt Russell's character in the movie. Russell was said to be playing Ego the Living Planet, but his more evident role is as Peter Quill's father. If you haven't yet seen the explosive new trailer, check it out below:

Ego Maniac

While Kurt Russell is presumably Ego the Living Planet, he doesn't appear to be in that form when we see him in the trailer. Russell's character could possess two forms in the movie but it's more feasible for Ego to undergo a transformation from a man into the Living Planet later on in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.

Beyond Ego's introduction to the MCU, there was more footage of loud noises and fun. The trailer also included a few more scenes of the Guardians settling into their new dynamic as a team. Each member is still getting used to one another. Naturally, with the introduction of Nebula and Yondu, every member is going to need a period of time to adjust (evident by the in-fighting between Nebula and Gamora).

Not every moment in the trailer is easily seen, unless you take the time to slow down the trailer a bit. That said, here's everything you probably missed in the most recent trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.

Peter Quill Rigged up a Stereo Sound System for His Walkman.

Peter's boombox was partially destroyed in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1 but enough of it was left for Peter to salvage the Walkman. Now, it looks like Peter Quill has repaired the whole setup and left Baby Groot in charge. Hopefully, Baby Groot knows what he's doing so Peter doesn't lose another boombox stereo system.

The Guardians have accumulated a vast armory.

In one split-second image, Drax can be seen taking a large pulse rifle off a shelf that has more armaments on it. Drax has been seen with said rifle in a few particular images. Gamora can also be seen brandishing a rifle of her own in a different image.

Rocket Raccoon and Peter Quill appear to be equipped with new weapons as well. In the image below, Peter can be seen brandishing a pair of new blasters, along with Rocket carrying some kind of mini-rifle of his own. Drax is also seen brandishing the pulse rifle he was seen taking off of a shelf inside the Milano.

Gamora and Peter's Relationship Develops

The budding relationship teased between Peter Quill and Gamora in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1 has apparently developed further since we last saw them. The newest trailer provides us with a few glimpses at Gamora and Peter dancing, as well as a close embrace.

Nebula has an axe to grind with Gamora.

So far, most of the promotional images for GOTG2 have depicted Nebula alongside the Guardians as part of the team. While she does appear to eventually join the team, her actions prove otherwise, as she can be seen angrily flying the Milano at Gamora with guns blazing.

As you can see, Nebula is flying the Milano, shooting at Gamora. The image doesn't look like the conflict will conclude amicably but it's possible Gamora and Nebula will overcome this rough patch in their sisterly relationship.

However, it doesn't seem like the situation will end without one of them becoming seriously injured. An image of Gamora firing a massive Gatling gun at Nebula in the crashed Milano seems to hint at Nebula getting seriously damaged by Gamora's onslaught.

Mantis and Ego are affiliated with one another.

The image is very small and grainy at best but the first glimpse at Ego (Kurt Russell) also sees him joined by Mantis (Pom Klementieff). Mantis can't be seen when the camera pans up to Ego but she's definitely standing by his side.

There's also this screenshot of Mantis conversing with Peter Quill in what looks to be Ego's spaceship. After seeing Mantis standing alongside Ego during his introduction to the Guardians, it probably means she'll leave Ego's side to join the Guardians at some point.

Drax gets a spacesuit to fight in space.

The image above depicts Drax in a suit allowing him to fight in space. The suit he's wearing appears to be made of a laser grid, making it possible for Drax to take his ferocity into the open vacuum of space. Drax may only use the suit during a few instances but the spacesuit is important to take notice of since it might be used in Avengers: Infinity War.

Most of the Avengers and Guardians can't survive in space since there's no oxygen, so a spacesuit like the one Drax is wearing could be exactly what the Avengers and Guardians will wear in Avengers: Infinity War when they come face to face with Thanos.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 premiered May 5, 2017.
