Is Hannah Montana Coming Back?

Does it seem as if 2006 is the new 2019, or vice-versa? Either way, there is no denying the nostalgic vibes we are receiving from all of the recent news. First, That's So Raven, the Jonas Brothers... NOW HANNAH MONTANA? Slow your roll, it's just rumored... Right?

Hannah Montana fans got super excited when Miley Cyrus posted about the thirteenth anniversary of the show, Hannah Montana, on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. She added hilarious commentary on the photos she shared to her Instagram story. But... another thing was noticed.

MILEY CYRUS WAS FOLLOWING A HANNAH MONTANA ACCOUNT! Say what? Miley is no longer following said account, however, she was, and that was enough for fans to jump to conclusions about the possible reboot of Hannah Montana. The Instagram that people claim to be a hint of a reboot has the username, hannahmontana... which, didn't Disney trademark? Yes! Another reason fans believe this is a sign of the show coming back. The description has the initials, "HM." Nothing else in the bio is shown, and there are no posts yet. The Instagram account is growing and hasn't stopped since the rumors started.

Other fans argue that the star is done with all of it. "She isn't coming back, Hannah is dead, Miley said so herself." Although it may be true, we can all still count on Jake Ryan to bring her back to life! Oh yeah... It would be Jessie saving Hannah now. Miley once expressed her feelings on a reboot emphasizing the fact she, and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, spent too much time together, which caused her to rebel when she left the show in 2011. Emily Osment also expressed her thoughts a while back, stating that if there ever was another reboot, she would rather it be where the stars are now, instead of picking up where it last left. Makes sense, I feel I must agree because Miley and the others have matured a lot since the show ended.

With Drake and Josh also working on a reboot, we wouldn't put it past Disney to reboot Hannah Montana. But would it ruin the whole franchise? Hannah Montana was one of the top shows in the early 2000s, and with how television shows are nowadays, when it comes to Nickelodeon and Disney, aren't that great. Shows just aren't the same. So do we really want a reboot?

My opinions and feelings on this topic are highly mixed and confusing. I would love to see Miley put the wig back on, I would love to see where Hannah/Miley Stewart ended up, I would like to know if her and Lily Truscott passed college, and if Miley had another movie offer. However, I have seen the way Disney butchered Raven's Home, and a lot of the other reboots and movie remakes. It is depressing because the next generation will never know great shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, or Corey In The House, and others. We as fans deserve better than that. So my fear is they would butcher Hannah Montana. I also really hope that Disney doesn't bring it back, only to have a whole new cast. That would be the last straw. What do you guys think? Would you like to see a reboot for Hannah Montana?

Perhaps the Hannah reboot possibility was a joke! Maybe so. Hannah, I mean, Miley, posted several more images almost a week ago after the mystery account appeared and one even saying, "Hannah was cute, but I'm about to f*** her up!" on an Instagram story. Could this mean there is no reboot in the works, and she was just being... Miley? Either way, it is obvious Miley Cyrus is just having some fun!
