Show less‘Dragon Ball Super’: The Hidden Origin of Moro (Pt. 2)
In part two, I explain the representation of Moro’s Symbol and how it intertwined with other symbols. Plus, I expose Moro's hidden secrets and reveal Moro’s second symbol.

Welcome, Dragon Ball fans!
I hope you all had a fantastic week! ^_^
In today's part two of "The Hidden Origin of Moro," I will discuss the symbol of Moro’s belt and how it reveals the secret to his magic powers. Also, the symbol is the key that reveals Moro’s hidden agenda and explains why you should be very afraid for Goku and Vegeta.
Moro is not your typical villain, as I demonstrated The Hidden Origin of Moro (Part 1) of this three-part series.
In my previous article, I completely exposed the hidden origins of Moro and his connection to the deity known as Baphomet. So make sure you guys read that article after reading this post because if you don’t, you will be lost.
This is not the first time we’ve seen the symbol, which is shown above, in Dragon Ball Super. The first time we saw this symbol was in “Jaco: The Galactic Patrolman” manga chapter 1 and chapter 7.
A Short Description of Moro's Symbol

Courtesy of Cyttorak on Twitter, he gave a short description about the symbol on Moro’s belt. The description reads as follows:
“Moro’s belt symbol is from the language of the Galactic Patrol, shown in the Jaco Manga by Toriyama. It’s probably just an easter egg by Toyotaro, just like with that character who was standing behind Merus in the DBS manga ch.42 which is also from the Jaco Manga by Toriyama.”
Basically, this symbol has parts of various symbols that make up the Galactic Patrol language. Now, Akira Toriyama essentially created a whole new language in Dragon Ball that is not Japanese or English.
The Symbol Represents A Japanese language
This symbol represents a specific writing system of the Japanese language, which is called “AHHHHH!!! For English speakers is “A”. Out of all the words in the Galactic Patrol language, why does Moro decide to use the symbol for “AHHHHHH!!!” Or “A” to represent him?
In order to answer this question, we need to dig deeper. Now, casual Dragon Ball fans may dismiss this symbol as being nothing more than an artistic choice.
However, if you are a hardcore Dragon Ball fan, you already know that when it comes to symbolism in Dragon Ball Super, there is rarely coincidences.
The symbol on Moro’s belt has been compared to hundreds of symbols from various cultures, religions, and times throughout history.
Moro's Symbol Revealed
After a few days of research, I’ve discovered the hidden origin of Moro’s symbol. Located on Baphomet’s stomach is an old Greek symbol of the two serpents wrapped around his staff.
This symbol is referred to as “Caduceus," which symbolizes trade negotiation and reconciliation of the opposites. This is because of French magician, Levi.
You guys remember him from part 1. Levi intended for Baphomet to symbolize the “Equilibrium of opposites," which results in a “Perfect Social Order." This is a huge reveal about Moro’s hidden agenda.
Keep reading because it only gets better.
The Staff of Hermes
The Caduceus is also famously known as the “Staff of Hermes." In Greek mythology, this was a staff carried by the Greek god Hermes himself.
Medical Department Symbols
This symbol was formally adopted by the “Medical Department of The United States Army” in 1902. As a result, that was later added to the uniforms of army medical officers for over a decade.
The Rod of Asclepius
However, it was abandoned and replaced by a similar Siegle, known as “The Rod of Asclepius." This was the exact same symbol used by Universe 4 in Dragon Ball Super.
This is because the “Rod of Asclepius” is commonly associated with medicine and poison, which fits perfectly with Universe 4 of their use of poison, power, and enhancing drugs.
Now, the symbol on Moro’s belt closely resembles the “Staff of Hermes" and appears to be a variation of “The Caduceus." This is not where my theory ends.
The symbol on Moro’s belt is not just a representation of one symbol, but of two symbols.
Moro's Second Symbol Revealed
The first symbol I discussed in my previous post, is Baphomet. The second symbol that Moro’s belt represents is actually something some of us recognized, which is the “ANKH."
The way in which this symbol relates to Moro, becomes more apparent as we dig deeper into the historic and cultural significance of this symbol.
The “ANKH” is a cross with a looped top that was used by the ancient Egyptians as a hieroglyphic symbol to represent the word for life.
In extension, this symbol is the life itself and more specifically, “eternal life." Now, the oval shape symbolizes "eternity of living deities," which is very symbolic.
A Planet Venus Symbol
The ancient Egyptians associated the ANKH with the spiritual life of the “Soul." The astrological for the planet Venus is very similar as well.
This is a cross joined by a circle.
Amun (God)
Now the “ANKH” associated with the God Amun, which is known as “The King of Gods." Amun is one of the most powerful gods of all of Egypt.
Many of the gods in Egypt used this symbol to represent their immortality.
The Key of Life
Let’s answer a very important question that you may be wondering before I did this article.
Why does this symbol on Moro’s belt resemble a key?
What its significance of Moro and a key?
Well, the answer to that question is quite easy.
In ancient Egypt, the “ANKH’ was widely known as the “Key of Life." So it makes sense that Moro’s powers and the symbol would be altered to resemble a key.
What's Next?
So now that you know what is behind Moro’s symbol. In part three, I will end the series with Moro’s hidden agenda in the hidden origin of Moro series. Also, I will explain his motives and discuss how powerful he truly is.
This concludes part two of “The Hidden Origin of Moro."
Stay tuned for part three!
